DOR has notified the Town of Wilkeson that the prior ordinance that was passed earlier in the fall is sufficient and will take effect Jan 1, 2026 as required by the legislation.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of the Town of Wilkeson, Washington, will hold a Special Council Meeting as follows:
Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2025
Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Wilkeson Town Hall, 540 Church St, Wilkeson WA 98396
Purpose of Special Meeting:
The purpose of this special meeting is for the Town Council to consider and take action on the following item only:
Adoption of Ordinance No. 2025-10, an ordinance amending Title 5 of the Wilkeson Municipal Code relating to business license exemptions, including increasing the gross income exemption threshold from $2,000 to $4,000 and providing for an automatic inflation adjustment, with an effective date of January 1, 2026.
No other business will be conducted at this special meeting, and no final action will be taken on any matter not listed in this notice.
This notice is provided pursuant to RCW 42.30.080.
