Davis Rousher Infrastructure Project

Starting Wednesday, October 2, The Town of Wilkeson will be kicking off the Davis Rousher Infrastructure Improvement Project. This means new underground infrastructure including water, sewer, storm but also street improvements for the roadway itself and storm water control.

These have been high priority projects for many years, and thanks to a combination of funding from Pierce County (through the American Rescue Plan Act) and a legislative appropriation from Washington State, we are able to replace this essential infrastructure in one project. The contractor intends to have all of the work completed by Christmas, we will update residents as this project progresses.

Residents will be able to come and go, but expect delays at times. Initially, the project will operate on a 4/10 schedule, M-Th. We know that Bonnie's daycare is in the middle of this project, causing additional people to be impacted that, don't live in that construction area. We will make every accommodation possible to ensure that children and families are accommodated & safe.
